About Sara Bates Acupuncture
Sara Bates Acupuncture uses Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping and moxibustion in the treatment of a variety of conditions ranging from pain to digestive disturbance and overall wellbeing/immune support with a specialty in Women’s Health conditions. In 2016, Sara trained to become a DONA birth doula and now offers that support to moms. She provides patients with resources and Chinese nutrition/lifestyle advice to supplement their treatments out of the office. Sara is continually inspired by the transformations and healing that takes place in her patients.
I received weekly acupuncture and took prescribed herbals for 10 months for the purpose of infertility. After my original provider had to take a leave of absence I transitioned to Sara based on his recommendation. After my first visit with her, I had a good feeling. While the original provider was exceptional also, Sara asked new questions and paid careful attention to “the big picture”. She very clearly looked at the whole me and thought critically to uncover imbalances and root causes for my irregular cycles. It was shortly after switching to her and the resulting herbal change, etc that I was pregnant. I now have a year old and largely contribute our success to the care she delivered in collaboration with my efforts. She’s since moved out of TN and I still haven’t found an adequate replacement. I highly recommend anyone in search of an acupuncturist seek her care. She is wise but gracious and delivers great and deliberate care.”Sharon N.
3 years of serious plantar fasciitis issues and back/shoulder problems that were not getting any better with traditional medical approaches pushed me to look for alternative ways of managing the pain. I tried acupuncture 16 months ago and haven’t looked back. Sara has helped me to realize that there is relief out there. I just had to be open minded. My plantar fasciitis was better after 9 treatments and with follow up treatments hasn’t come back. My back is also much better. Sara is very open to questions and is always willing to explain how the treatments work. If you are worried about the needles… they are super small and you can’t feel them at all. The treatments are really relaxing! I am more than satisfied with her services and will continue to see her to ensure good health in the future. When you have an open mind anything is possible!Wendy D
I have had the privilege of working with Sara Bates and the most positive experiences as a former patient in Nashville TN. We conducted several acupuncture/yoga workshops together with great success. The combination of her acupuncture skills and her amazing ability as a yoga teacher make for good healing!
Sara did not hesitate to help my daughter with acupuncture for some issues she was having prior to delivering her first child in 2015.
Sara demonstrates a compassionate and calm approach as well as being the ultimate professional.
You will not regret your decision to see Sara Bates for your healthcare needs. Fort Collins is so VERY lucky to have her!Ann C.
